Cameron LLP Appointed Transaction Advisor for the Privatisation of SamoaTel Limited

Cameron LLP, led by partner Tom Skilton, has been appointed by the Government of Samoa (GoS) as international counsel in connection with its planned privatization of SamoaTel Limited, a 100% wholly owned telecommunications company of the GoS. Cameron is part of a team of transaction advisors, lead by Nathan Associates, Inc. and also including SINTRA Consulting Inc. and Stevensons Lawyers (Apia, Samoa). The project is a component of the Government of Samoa’s plans for enterprise reform and privatisation of nonstrategic public enterprises, and is being undertaken in conjunction with the World Bank Telecommunications Sector Project.
