PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Kent Klein brings extensive journalism experience to strategic communications. He understands the media and its needs, which enables him to position clients and tell their stories in a compelling way. Kent helps clients strengthen their brands by raising awareness, building coalitions, coordinating media campaigns, and engaging with stakeholders, media, and top-level officials. He provides strategic counsel in the areas of strategic communications, media relations, and public policy.
Kent is a frequent guest host on the SiriusXM POTUS Channel’s Morning Briefing and Midday Briefing. He conducts live interviews on national radio with Members of Congress, experts, and other interesting guests, covering a wide range of issues. He has also covered the Trump and Obama administrations as a substitute White House correspondent for POTUS.
Previously, Kent covered the Obama and George W. Bush presidencies as a White House correspondent for the Voice of America. He provided daily guidance and support to more than 40 language services in reaching a global multimedia audience of more than 200 million. While at VOA, he also wrote and anchored hourly news programs, breaking news coverage and special events such as political conventions.
Kent is a member of the National Press Club and the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Southeastern Louisiana University, and is the first graduate of the university’s Honors Program.
